Simon Daniel: Simon founded Moixa in 2006 with the aim of innovating energy technology. Moixa has now evolved to become the UK’s leading smart battery and AI software company, developing renewable energy technologies to rethink the future of electricity, and enable homes to rapidly save energy and carbon, using a design led approach. Prior to founding Moixa he spent eight years in Accenture’s Technology practice and worked in research at IBM. He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and is a member of the BEIS/Ofgem Smart Systems Forum.
Will Richardson: Will is a recognised expert on all things Environmental Management. He has been working in the environmental field for almost 20 years and is a pioneer and early adopter of many now-mandatory environmental standards. After working for a variety of businesses, he made a life-changing decision: to dedicate his life to contributing toward a sustainable future for the generations to come. He founded Green Element – an Environmental Consultancy Agency – in 2004 to help companies improve their environmental performance and boost profits. He went on to co-found Compare Your Footprint, a comprehensive carbon calculator and benchmarking software that aligns with climate science.
Jo Hand: Jo is an inspirational social entrepreneur and sustainability and carbon footprint specialist on a mission to help people live more sustainably. She is a firm believer that if we have the right tools, we can all play a crucial role in preserving the environment on which we all depend. In 2017 Jo set up Giki, a social enterprise that provides the digital products to help everyone understand and reduce the environmental impacts of their own lifestyles. Before setting up Giki with her husband James, Jo was previously the first woman on the executive Board at CDP, a climate change charity where she was Head of Partnerships. Before that she spent ten years working as a journalist in current affairs at the BBC and Channel 4.
Katrina Sale: Katrina is the Chair of the Green Entrepreneurship Forum, a policy-development initiative created by The Entrepreneurs Network to bring together the UK’s most successful sustainability driven entrepreneurs. She is the Business Ambassador for the Conservative Environment Network, and sits on the board of Green Skills Library, a not-for-profit organisation helping communities crowdsource sustainable skills.
