Inclusive Innovation Forum: Public Policy

The policies devised and delivered in Westminster have an impact upon everyone across the country. Each decision reverberates, changing the incentives for individuals and families. This is as true for entrepreneurship as it is for anything, impacting who can and wants to start a business, as well as their ambitions to scale.

With the Rose Review, we have seen some progress in policy thinking and action to support female founders. However, the same can’t be said for founders of colour.

In this virtual roundtable, we will bring together policy makers, investors, and founders to look at what more can be done to support un. The Entrepreneurs Network will use the insights of this project to inform its policy work.

The discussion will be wide-ranging with a focus on sharing ideas for how to best support founders of colour. The ideas taken out of this event will feed into the lobbying efforts of The Entrepreneurs Network, including:

  • Ongoing discussions government departments;

  • Engagement Labour’s Startup Review;

  • Upcoming conversations with the British Business Bank.

The Inclusive Innovation Forum exists to encourage, support and promote the UK’s underserved entrepreneurs through networking and advocacy. Sign up to our newsletter for access to exclusive events, insights from leading founders, and exposure to Morgan Stanley’s Multicultural Innovation Lab.
