Funding Opportunities for Female Entrepreneurs

Most entrepreneurs will at some point have to source capital from outside their business. This is especially true for female entrepreneurs. Female non-entrepreneurs say that a lack of start-up funding is the main reason they have not started a business and female entrepreneurs start businesses with an average of 53% less capital than their male counterparts. Venture capital funding is the most lucrative form of finance and only 13% of this goes to female founded companies.

This event will introduce you to the different forms of financing available to your business, including:

  • Grants

  • Start up loans

  • Business loans

  • Angel investment

  • Venture capital
