Risk is part and parcel of being an entrepreneur, and the best among Britain’s startup community are those who can successfully manage and exploit uncertainty.

Our Risk Readiness Report is a joint project between ourselves and international law firm Mishcon de Reya, surveying founders of high-growth businesses to better understand entrepreneurs’ attitudes to various questions of risk.

We will publish reports on an annual basis, thereby allowing us to map trends in sentiment among Britain’s founders.

Research

Our first Risk Readiness Report was published in October 2023. Among our headline findings, we revealed that most entrepreneurs had a less than optimistic outlook for the year ahead, were split on the risks associated with artificial intelligence, and firmly thought the Labour Party best represented their interests.
