The Entrepreneurs Network and Mishcon De Reya set up the Green Entrepreneurship Forum in 2021 to bring together the UK’s most successful sustainability driven entrepreneurs to help us influence policy around green entrepreneurship. The Forum aims to define and support policy recommendations to foster a positive environment for green entrepreneurs, build an influential community of successful Green Entrepreneurs who can champion policies to help the industry, and provide mentoring and support to green start-ups through online and live events.

We are currently recruiting additional members to the forum who will be invited to our roundtables to share your thoughts and policy suggestions. It is free to join, but you must be an established entrepreneur working in sustainability.

If you would like to get involved with this project, get in touch with katrina@tenentrepreneurs.org.

Green Entrepreneurship

Environmental sustainability has shot up the political agenda in recent years. Consumers are increasingly demanding greener alternatives, and innovative companies are developing them.

In Green Entrepreneurship, we examine how entrepreneurs are helping to deliver not only a more sustainable tomorrow, but also economic growth, exports, and jobs. Throughout the report, we provide a number of policy recommendations which the government could adopt to accelerate the green transition and reap the opportunities it offers.

“It is no surprise that over three-fifths of businesses surveyed in the The Entrepreneurs Network’s Green Entrepreneurship research saw the shift to a more sustainable economy as representing positive opportunities to them. It underlines what we already know at Mishcon: that success in business is about hardwiring sustainability and social impact into your business model. We know this through our work with entrepreneurs, the activities of our Mishcon Purpose business, our engagement with the B Corp community and as a purposeful business and certified B Corp ourselves. We look forward to working with members of the Green Entrepreneurship Forum.”

Nadim Meer, Partner Head of Mishcon Private Equity

“This collaboration with the The Entrepreneurs Network is significant. We hear from entrepreneurs that a green business revolution is required if the Government is to meet its environmental commitments and that, at the moment, this is being led on the ground by green entrepreneurs without much meaningful, practical facilitation from Government.  The Green Entrepreneurship Forum represents a significant opportunity to bring about change.”

Alex Rhodes, Head of Mishcon Purpose
