This is part of our Female Founders Forum project – which brings together some of the UK's most successful female entrepreneurs to address how best to support and boost fledgling female founders. It will be attended by some of the region's foremost female entrepreneurs, journalists and key figures from within the investment and entrepreneurial spheres.
The event will examine the leadership techniques of successful female entrepreneurs and is an opportunity to share/seek advice. Topics will include: leadership in pitching, sharing leadership, leadership in a crisis, and shaping company culture.
Combined with three other roundtables taking place across the country, your views will feed into a report that will help inspire and inform other entrepreneurs to greatness. There may also be opportunities for media coverage around the event and videos if that’s something you’re keen to do.
Timings as follows:
12pm-12.45pm: Networking & Lunch
12.45pm: Start discussion
2pm: End discussion
2pm-2.30pm: Networking and filming

2016 saw us bring together big name entrepreneurs and host high-level roundtables where experiences around financing a business were shared and used to form part of our Untapped Unicorns report. In 2017/18 we built on the enthusiasm for practically supporting female entrepreneurs, connecting our members with some of the most ambitious female leaders of start-ups at speed mentoring events in London, Manchester and Cambridge. The culmination of this work was our practical Mentoring Matters report. Both reports have featured in the Telegraph, Guardian, Forbes, among others. Comments from our 2018/19 events will feed into our next report, to be published in September this year.
