The Entrepreneurs Network and Mishcon de Reya would like to invite you to a private dinner with Chris Philp MP. Just let me know if you would like to be added to the guest list.
This private roundtable will be for around 20 people – mostly entrepreneurs. It will be an opportunity to hear Mr Philp's vision of how Britain can become the best place in the world to start and grow a business.
We have worked with the law firm Mishcon de Reya over multiple years on The Leap – an active network and programme of events for some of the most exciting fast-growth businesses in the UK
Chris Philp MP is Conservative MP for Croydon South, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice, and Minister for London.
Before entering parliament, Chris was a serial entrepreneur, co-founding distribution business Blueheath Holdings, which grew from nothing to £70m turnover in four years. It was floated on the AIM before merging with Booker Cash & Carry as part of the Booker Group in a £375mi deal. He later founded the HGV training provider Clearstone Training and Recruitment, and the property development lender Pluto Finance (UK) LLP.
Chris also founded the charity Next Big Thing, a business plan competition for inner-city teenagers which was eventually handed over to The Mercers' Company. He was voted London's Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and The Times in 2003, as well as being voted the CBI's Entrepreneur of the Future, 2005.
This event will take place in central London. These events are aimed at the owners of Britain’s fastest growing companies. Please contact events@tenentrepreneurs.org to enquire about a place.
