Anastasia Bektimirova

Anastasia is a Researcher at The Entrepreneurs Network.

She previously worked as a Senior Researcher in the Science and Technology team at Onward, focusing on emerging technologies, AI policy, and the UK’s R&D ecosystem. She was the lead researcher on a report exploring how the UK can build strategic advantage in the five priority technologies set out by the previous government: AI, engineering biology, quantum, semiconductors, and future telecoms. Prior to that, Anastasia worked for the International Telecommunication Union, focusing on the United Nations affairs, strategic partnerships, and ICTs for Sustainable Development Goals.

Anastasia holds an MPhil degree in Politics from the University of Oxford and an MSc degree in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
