James Croft
Co-Founder & Head of Education at Whitebeam Strategy
James Croft is Co-founder and Head of Education at specialist corporate advisory firm Whitebeam Strategy. An experienced education entrepreneur, James was previously Founder and Director of the Centre for Education Economics (CfEE) policy think tank, which partnered with TEN in the early stages of its work in Education for Entrepreneurship. He now compiles for us our Education Entrepreneurship Monthly newsletter.
James authored and co-authored a number of reports for the Centre and its partners, on diverse issues relating to education reform including assessment reform, school federation and leadership, and autonomy/accountability in the education system.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Economic Affairs and a former editor of Investor Publishing’s EducationInvestor Global magazine.
He has been a frequent speaker, commentator and chair on matters relating to education economics and reform, entrepreneurship and education investment over many years.
