Alongside Fragomen, a leading law firm specialising in immigration, we are hosting a Policy Salon on High-Skilled Immigration with the UK Day One Project. This roundtable is set to take place in the London offices of Fragomen.
This policy salon aims to highlight the vital role of high-skilled immigration in bolstering the UK's economic vibrancy. Our agenda is designed to facilitate a comprehensive examination of policies that can attract and retain invaluable talent. As we argued in Passport to Progress and Job Creators before, high-skilled immigration plays a critical role in enhancing the UK’s innovative industries.
The roundtable will gather policy experts in this field and focus on potential policy solutions for international students, STEM talent, and foreign-born entrepreneurs. It will aim to draft actionable policy proposals for the next UK government.
This will be the second ‘policy salon’ of the UK Day One Project, a non-partisan initiative to arm the next government with implementation-ready policy proposals crowdsourced from the science, technology, and innovation communities.
If you have expertise in high-skilled immigration and want to be a part of this policy salon, please request a place here.
