Join The Entrepreneurs Network and OakNorth for a breakfast roundtable to reflect on the Government’s Spring Statement.
On 26 March, the Office for Budget Responsibility will publish its Economic and Fiscal Forecast. The Chancellor of the Exchequer will make an accompanying statement to Parliament. This is the second and final economic forecast of the financial year, and its purpose is to share any potential changes to taxes and spending.
This roundtable will bring together entrepreneurs to discuss what the presented changes, or lack thereof, could mean for UK businesses. Topics might include income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and National Insurance contributions – discussed over an informal breakfast.
Our partner for this event is OakNorth, a digital bank founded in 2015 that has injected over £12bn into UK and US communities by supporting scaling businesses with £1m-£100m turnover through fast, flexible lending and tailored business banking solutions, including current accounts and savings vaults.
For this event, we are particularly interested in hearing from founders of mid-sized businesses and founders of VC-backed businesses.
