The Entrepreneurs Network and Barclays are hosting this roundtable to explore the opportunities and challenges for female angel investors. 

Diverse investors foster a more vibrant startup ecosystem by backing a wider array of founders and companies. Female angel investors contribute to closing entrepreneurial gaps and directing more investments towards female founders in particular. Only 14% of angel investors are women, with almost 50% based in London, creating a regional gap in deal flows.

At this roundtable, we will discuss  the pathways into angel investing, the types of support female angel investors need, what can be done to help entrepreneurs find them, and how angel syndicates can assist. The insights from the roundtable discussion will inform policy recommendations for the Government’s work on supporting angel investing among women and gender-focused investment flows.
