Ian Murray is the Labour MP for Edinburgh South and Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland. He was previously Shadow Minister (Business, Innovation and Skills).

Murray previously served as a City of Edinburgh Councillor for the Liberton and Gilmerton ward from 2003 to 2010. Prior to entering Parliament, Murray founded his own event management business (100 mph Events).
