In February 2023, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change published a report with an optimistic vision for the UK to form a national purpose based on a "new age of invention and innovation".
Launched by Tony Blair, former Labour Prime Minister, and William Hague, former Leader of the Conservative Party, the report calls for:
experts to be hired into government
data to be seen as a valuable asset
a digital ID to be launched, and
an advanced procurement system to allow more SMEs to win contracts
In Partnership with Enterprise Nation, we’re hosting the author of the report, Benedict Macon-Cooney, for a conversation on the report's recommendations.
Attend if you are:
an entrepreneur wanting to sell to or work with government
interested in how we boost the UK's tech and innovation capabilities
keen to understand how your company could benefit from a New National Purpose
