Emily Orton is a co-founder of Darktrace. She has worked in technology marketing for over seven years, previously serving as Head of Marketing EMEA at enterprise software company Autonomy, before joining Invoke Capital at its foundation in 2012, as a senior associate. She has also held editorial and business development roles at media company Emap.
At Darktrace, Emily is responsible for worldwide marketing and communicating innovative approaches to cyber security based on fundamental new technologies, and her comments have been reported in leading media outlets including the BBC, Sky News and Channel 4. She holds an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge, and speaks French and Spanish.
This event will consider the changing threat landscape, who is a potential target, and look at strategies to reduce risks without negatively impacting business growth.
