In 2012 Veera Johnson founded Johnson Capital Advisory, providing advice, support and access to finance for UK and overseas entrepreneurs and established businesses.
As a Senior Partner in PA consulting group Veera has over 12 years management consulting experience, spanning a number of markets and sectors, including the delivery of major IT transformation projects from requirements specification through to systems implementation and business change. She has played a key role in the development of many the UK’s eGovernment policies and strategies in the areas of eCommerce, online government to consumer services and B2B trading platforms and strategies. She has advised on and delivered a wide range of B2C and B2B trading and services projects for clients.
In 2005, Veera founded a corporate venture business, ProcServe, a successful eCommerce business that provides secure solutions to the public and private sectors to enable transactional purchasing.
In addition to her business operations and consulting skills, Veera is recognized as a leader in building, mentoring and sustaining high performing teams and in developing diversity in organisations. Over the last 15 years Veera has provided leadership development and mentoring guidance to a wide range of organisations and individuals including most recently, providing senior management team coaching to both the BBC and Channel 4.
Veera is passionate about economic and urban development. Throughout her public sector and consulting carreers she has been involved in a number of regional and local economic development programmes in the UK and internationally including the development of strategies and plans for major land reclamation schemes. Veera is currently the Vice Chair of the London Branch of the Institute of Economic Development.
In May 2009 Veera was named Business Woman of the Year at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards.
